Carlos Acosta

Electrical engineering Research student

Hola, my name is Carlos Acosta and I am an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer at UCF. I have passed research experience thanks to the F-LEARN program and even won the Student Scholar Symposium for 2021 with my group's research into PPG sensors. I'm now in the HUT program at UCF and starting to look into my own research, since I have found a new passion for it.

I joined this project because I wanted to expand my interests in Electrical Engineering research as well as have the opportunity to help those in need.

Abdul - Malik Mustapha

Electrical engineering Research student

My name is Abdul-Malik Mustapha. I am a rising senior studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Central Florida. My research interests include power electronics and control system design.

I have been involved in various engineering projects from my freshman year such as the Navel Boat Orange Race and TI-Robot Maze Race. My main interest in this project is to learn more about technological devices that make things easier and accessible for people with disabilities.

I believe in the goal and impact this project stands to have at UCF because we focus on diversity and inclusion and what better way to promote that than to introduce a project like this to the UCF community.
